Faro airport attracts 18 new routes and six new destinations
From this summer- 2023, Faro’s Gago Coutinho Airport will have 18 new routes and 6 new destinations, increasing connectivity to the Algarve and contributing to the “growth of strategic markets”. The announcement was made by ANA Airports of Portugal | VINCI Airports.
They have added 6 new destinations : Rome, Strasbourg, Bilbao, Jersey , Exeter and Aarhus and 12 of the existing routes will be complemented by by more operating airlines. The main countries of origin for the Algarve’s tourists flying into the holiday region (UK, Ireland and France), have also increased their seat offering in comparison to summer 2019
This brings the Algarve’s airport to a total of 81 connections to 71 countries around the world.
